GRC AC 10.0 ARA: No Violations are shown for back end system???

Hi,

This activity I have done many times before for running risk analysis for roles/users. But seems this time it is causing some problem.

I have done following things (post steps have been successfully done):

  1. Customized RuleSet in GRC system for SAP_R3_LG
  2. Back End system is maintained in SAP_R3_LG logical group
  3. Generated Rules for Customized risks
  4. Performed Authorization Synchronization from back end system
  5. Performed Roles/Users Synchronization from back end system

When I performed risk analysis for a role (which is having violations), it does not show any violations!

I am not sure what I missed and everything seems to be in place as far as I think. But still no violations are shown.

Can anybody give me a clue to check for this?

Regards,

Faisal

Solved this!

Actually, RFC was getting failed because the communication user was locked.

Hi,

If  communication user was locked  still you should not get the no violation.

instead you should get error message risk analysis fails.

please check below SNOTES if this helps you.

1803730 - UAM: No error message shown when risk analysis fails  and

1951665 - Risk Analysis reports 'No Violations' when RFC has errors

if the helps you.

Hi,

Same error you should get on the screen where you running Risk Analysis because you you never know whether this is due to system down, RFC issue or communication user is locked or you do not have violation truly.

1803730 - UAM: No error message shown when risk analysis fails  and

1951665 - Risk Analysis reports 'No Violations' when RFC has errors.

I have seen same issue and Approver  able to submit access request without mitigating the risk due to No Violation.  same apply when you run the reports.
