User defaults linked to User Group or Roles via GRC

Hi All,

Thank you in advance for your help.

Is it possible to link the user defaults that will be provisioned based on the User Group or Roles requested for a certain User ID, in GRC CUP?

We would like the defaults to be determined by the User Group or Roles selected for the user to be provisioned.

Best regards,

CMPT

Hi CMPT,

Yes, you can configure a BRF+ decision table to identify User Default IDs based on target system, user group and other access request attributes.

The User Default IDs are based on the target system and can be set up in SPRO.

Please have a look at the details mentioned here: Setting up User Defaults in Access Control 10.0 - Governance, Risk and Compliance - SCN Wiki

the user default functionality works as advertised when you use request attributes, but does not seem to work when you attempt to use role attributes (role name, functional area, etc.). also the wiki is not correct, you must set the function to "function and event mode" to enable the decision table. Any idea on how to configure the BRF+ application to provision user defaults based on role attributes?
