Crystal Reports 2013 SP01 will not start

Ive re-installed the software several times.

it will not run past the "splash" screen when I start the program, it just hands until I end the program with the task manager.

It worked fine the other day, now it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I tried adding the .exe file to make a DEP exceptions, with no difference.

Btw, Computer is windows 7 Pro, w/ plenty of memory and processing power.

This is a paid version of the software.

I figured it out.

It was attempting to check for updates, and was causing the program to stop responding.

I got lucky and found out you could open the software by clicking on a report, but it would not work by using the program icon.

I opened it with a report, and shut off the auto update, and it works now.

Looks like SAP needs to put out another round of updates.
