We are trying to upgrade our ALM 11 to 2.7 EI system, and we are getting a strange error on SLG1 in Solution Manager whenever we try to update an existing message (attached).
The SLFNHPQC Status Profile was fine on 2.5 EI with HPQC. When we upgraded to ALM, we started with 2.6, but we were unable to close messages, so we contacted SAP for a fix. They told us to upgrade to 2.7 EI, and SAP has confirmed that we have the correct version of 2.7. We have set up the SSL and SAML certificates.
Do you recommend using a different status profile? Do you think that something is corrupted in the 2.7 EI installation, and we should start that installation over? Anything suggestions you have to offer would be helpful. Status Profile was never one of the variably mapped fields, and it was working before, so we are not sure, how it could have unmapped from updating QC?
QC: ALM 11 EI 2.7
Solution Manager: 7.1 SP 06
We are planning to upgrading our solution manager to SP 10 shortly. please let us know if we need to take any other precautions.

Status Profile
Hi,
seems you are using wrong status profile, it supposed to be SMINHPQC, since 7.1, transaction type for incidents are changed from SLFN to SMIN.
follow the latest guide for HPQC integration, other sap notes like 1829732,1814726 and adapt accordingly
Thanks

HI Satya
as already mentioned above you should not use the SLFN transaction type because it is replaced by new transaction SMIN in solution manager
Also it is recommend to create a copy of it like ZMIN or YMIN.
check the HP QC and Solution Manager integration guide as below
