Hello Folks

We are currently upgrading our SRM Test system to EHP3 and the upgrade got stuck at the Pre-Processing phase with the following error.  It says the background job aborted with Severe error.

The kernel was messed up for me and hence was getting that error. I was not even able to logon to Shadow instance as I was getting an error. So had to copy the kernel from Development system and then continued the Upgrade.

The kernel is messed up much using the SUM tool, make sure you keep a kernel copy before you do an upgrade.

OKay, i also have problem starting up with the shadow.

What i did is copy the kernel from the main instance and then copy the kernel to the shadow instance

after that i have the error with RSUPGCUAGEN111 and this solved with sapnote 1877590

My upgrade is running now...
