Geodata in customer masterdata?

Hello,

we like to implement a web solution for a dealer locator. That requires to maintain the geodata (coordinates) in the customer masterdata.

Up to now, I haven't found any field or function where to maintain the geodata.

Is there a usable solution in stardard ERP 6.06?

I tried to activate the business function, but that requires to activate the function "SCM Extension (EA-SCM). I have no experience about the impacts on running processes...

Dear Chris,

Please goto the following path.

IMG --> SAP Net Weaver --> General Settings --> Set Countries and Set Geo Coding.

Maintain the data for country and assign the Geo Coding program to the country.

Kindly maintain the necessary configurations.

but how can I maintain the table you mentioned? Do I have to activate an enhancement point? Will there be impacts on existing system?

Try to use function module /DSD/RP_CUST_SAVE_DEBI_DATA to update geodata for customer.

use only import parameters I_DSD_GEO and  I_UPD_DSD_GEO.

I think the only use of these data will not impact the system, but you will use it in your scenario.

Hi Chris,

This data are in the solution DSD (Direct Store Delivery). Check the table /DSD/RP_DEBGEO, you will find there fields LONGITUDE and LATITUDE assigned to the customer (KUNNR).
