Hi,
We have to use CIDX messages with our clients. For that we have downloaded the following CIDX XSD's and sample XML documents:
1. LoadTenderMotor
2. ShipNotice
3. FreightBill
4. PaymentDetail
from http://www.cidx.org.
These XSD's we have uploaded into XI through external definitions. We have noticed something strange.
The problem is some elements that were present in sample XML were not defined in XSD. In the sense XSD is not completely defined as expected. Hence, we did not get some of the elements into the message.
So, I request you to provide me the source where I can find the complete XSD's.
Thanks & Regards,
Suraj Kumar

Hi,
the XSDs for CIDX Messages have includes in them. Look for the statement <xsd:include schemaLocation="CIDX_CeS_v4.0_CommonComponents.xsd"/> in the XSDs. You will notice that this is present in all the XSDs. In addition the CommonComponents XSD also has a lot of includes, so you will need to upload the Common Components XSD plus all the other XSDs starting w/ CIDX_CeS_v4.0_cidxList....
As in XI the messages are not stored under the original file name, you will need to add the original file name in the field Source of the External Definition. Once you've done all that on the external references tab of the external definitions you should see resolved references and your structure should be complete.
Regards
Christine
