IQ 16 not supported Windows Server 2012 ?

Hi ,

I tried to install IQ16 to Windows Server 2012 box . But I got an error during install , about 'LAX' error .

Windows Server 2012  is not supported ?  My environment problem ?

If not supported , do you have any plans ?

Hmm...I tried some time but I can't install IQ16 on Windows Server 2012.It looks like installer problem.

Actually,I want to use IQ ODBC driver on Windows Server 2012.I heard SQL Anywhere's ODBC drver can install by file copy and write registry entry. This method is supported on IQ?

Currently we do NOT support Windows Server 2012 in IQ 16, but do have plans for supporting it with the IQ 16 SP08 release which is planned for release in 2nd quarter of this year.

Copying ODBC driver files on win 12 is not officially supported , but you can always test it

I am trying to Install Syabase IQ SP08 patch 32 in windows 2012 R2 and it is giving me LAX error. Any suggestions?

Could  you please post complete error message;

Supported Server Platforms

                                SAP IQ is compatible with these                                platforms and operating systems.

• Microsoft Windows Server 2012                                                  R2 for 64-bit systems
• Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 for                                                  64-bit systems - Service Pack 1
• Microsoft Windows 7 for                                                  64-bit systems - Service Pack 1

My error was related to failed loading windows dll files in windows server 2012 R2. It resolved when I relaunched the installer in windows 7 compatibility. Now I'm successfully going through the installation steps.
