Hi Support,
I am using ECC6.0 with Solaris OS. We did not delete any PI XML messages from first day,now my database size growing by 1 TB and i am getting performance issue due to XML messages which is near about 90 lac.Now i want to delete all XML but for this activity i do not have enough space for run the job to archive first and then delete. So i need to delete XML directly without archive. OR please guide me any other method for delete XML without using space for archive.
Also can any one help me that how many GB space required for delete 90 lac XML's.
I can arrange space for table space but very difficult for archive.
Thank You,
Faizan.

Hi Faizan
Then i think you need to check the following thread and follow the sap recommendation by
------------------------------
SAP recommended to perform the following steps in the given order
1) for the time being do NOT start job SAP_BC_XMB_DELETE_100
2) restart tables switch by
- running transaction SXMS_MONI_JOB
- press 'Reschedule Terminated Copy Job'
3) after switch has completed re-schedule job SAP_BC_XMB_DELETE_100
this will set as many messages as possible to status 'logically
deleted' and afterwards another run of the table switch is started;
as the
- switch procedure is not yet turned off and
- the fill level has exeeded the threshold
report RSXMB_TABLE_SWITCH will decide to actually perform the switch back from table copies to original tables;
as soon as this switchhas been performed successfully the switch procedure will turn off automaticall due to the notification flag that is already set.

Hi Faizan,
All messages in PI has stored in SXMSPMAST table. If you prefer run report RSTRFCQD for delete outbound messages and RSTRFCID to delete inbout messages.
But, you should confugure Archiving and deletion Procedures as Gagan suggest.
