Hi Pragash,

Qscore is calculated by "Q score procedure" maintained for an inspection type in Material Master.

for 01 inspection type it is by default maintained as "From Usage Decision Code".

This simply calculates mean of the Qscores assigned for the Usage decision in Selected Set.

Check which "Q score procedure" you are using.

Use mm03 (inspection type in QM View) or

QCC0>Quality Inspection>Inspection lot completion>Define Quality SCore Procedure.

There are following "Q score procedures"

01 Share of scrap in lot

02 Maximum share of scrap for chars

03 Minimum quality score for chars

04 Weighted from share of scrap for chars

05 Weighted from quality score of chars.

06 From usage decision code

01 to 05 procedures use Function module to calculate Qscore.

Hello Amol.

We maintained the Q score for accepted lot as 100 and for rejected lot as 1.

we are using the usage decision(Inspection type) for the Q score calculation.

for Example .

I posted 2 GR 1000 EA and 500 and i accepted the first lot fully and the second was rejected full.

After accepting the first 1000 EA , the MCVE displayed the Mean Q score as 100. once the second lot rejected fully , the MCVE Mean Q score value changed to 50.500.

I want to know how this was calculated .

Thanks .

Hi pragash,

Qscore is calculated for usage decision only. as u said, for accepted Qscore is 100, and for Rejected it is 1.

so it is simple percentage of 100+1 out of 200 which is (101/200)*100= 50.5

There is no relation between inspection lot quantity and Qscore.
