What and how to need configure to open the search box?

  I have a requirement to customize the CRM_UI interface of Incident Management.

I have a problem. When choosing areporteris an error below.

Kamil Kubrak,   This note 1743728 - ST710:
does not fit our system - we version SP8 SAPKITL708, and this note is valid for
systems with up to version SAPKITL705-SAPKITL706. Which will still offer?

Apparently I'm wrong to describe a situation. I'll try to explain in pictures.

When handling the incident message processor for handling on the  Business Partner becomes available search dialog of field «Reported
by», as shown in the picture below

on "General Data" search dialog box of field
«Reported by» does not open and gives an error, as indicated in the picture below

Not sure but try note 1749870 - Address duplicate popup triggered incorrectly.

and 1915353 - Exception when saving the changes on Partner Profile

maybe this particular business partner hasn't address maintained ?

check the other notes, whether helps

1852668 - CRM_UI - Missing search term 2 when searching for Business Partner

1836960 - ChaRM: only main partner can be searched in CRM Web UI

if this not helps you can contact SAP, or if you trying to customize the entire contact search with BP_CONT_SEARCH, this can be done only via tools like eewb.

Hi Nikishina

When you say customize ..do you mean Business Role Customizing...because this is the way to customize the interface for end user or message processor by defining business roles

copying SOLMANREQU or SOLMANPRO as per requirement
