File to Proxy Scenario - PI Part

Hi,

Can anyone please confirm me is there anythng to do with Proxy part in SAP PI Abap stact for the scenario of File to Proxy Interface.

I believe configuration part for Proxy settings ,IR part and ID part only be taken care by SAP PI developer and the proxy creation part and logic of handling the recived file through proxy will be in SAP ECC system.

Please let me know if anythng to do other than the above.

Yes. No need to do any additional configuration.

If you don't want to configure the connection parameters in the channel, you might have to create an RFC destination of type H on the PI ABAP stack.

In the above shared link, the configuration was at done channel level so got nothing to do on PI ABAP stack

Hello V R,

Kindly ask Basis people to create RFC destination of Type H in SM59 for your receiver system and configure the same in the Receiver Proxy Communication channel.
