CTS+ java transport manually.

Hi,

is there a way to apply CTS+ transport manually to a system?  I have 5 transports that i need to apply to a test system, the system i want to import the transport is not in the CTS route, can i do the transport manually?  All java systems are Netweaver 731.

Hi,

Get the ear file that are part of the transport and used the deploy script to deploy them.

Or upload the file on to the server /sapmnt/SID/global/pcd/Import

and then go in http://hostname:port/irj/portal then in system administration --> transport and then import the ear file that are needed to import in the target system..

In CTS+ i have a data file and cofiles, i need to extract the files from the datat files.  Is there a way to extract the file?

What do you see in your domain controller system when you go in Se01 give the transport no and expand it..

Hi Jean,

In case you want to transfer objects across different system which is not part of regular TMS, you can export the portal content and import the same into your landscape without any hassle.

No need to use CTS+ for such requirements.
