changes in iuuc_repl_content

Hello,

We changed some of the SLT logic in IUUC_REPL_CONTENT in some of the include programs and would like that our changes will be applied from this point forward without changing the replicated data and without replicating the data again.

We noticed that if we only change the code in the include program our changes are not apllied. Is it possible to make changes without replicating all the data again?

Thanks,

Amir

Hi,

in IUUC_REPL_CONTENT you have to use the button "regenerate migratio object". Afterwards the new rule will be applied for all new records that are transfered. For all existing records in HANA you have to do an SQL update statement.

Hi,

When I try to use "reset migration object" I get the error no CNV_IUUC_REPLICATION067:

"Unable to reset: Table .... is under processing"

I tried to stop the configuration but it didn't help.

How can I fix it?

Thanks,

Amir

I guess its because there are entries in the logging table...

I will try it tomorrow

Amir,

You may try this option..

Step1-Suspend the Replication for the table

Step2- Do whatever changes you want to perform

Step3- Reset Migration Object

Step4- Resume Replication of the table

Hi Joy,

This exactly what I did and it didn't restart.

After talking with the OSS the solution was:

1. stop configuration

2.LTRC->expert functions-> reset replication object definition

3. restart configuration.

In SP6 I cant find the option "reset migration object" in LTRS.

Can you please guide me where is it now?

Thanks,

Hi,

This function is part of LTRC and you could find this under ‘Processing Steps’ tab: "Delete Generated Runtime Object".

Hi Tobias,

Thank you! this partly works for us. it re-generate the code but if we add fields to the table or change the table structure in LTRS it still doesn't reflect in the replicated table structure.

Thanks,

Amir
