Dear Expert ,

Recently we refresh our Quality test data from production system . In our test environments lots of RND going in
different project .
As a result number  of  user have SAP all Access .

Now we need to block HR confidential data  (for example : Basic pay , Bonus , pay slip
result sheet, PDF files, historical data,  etc ) which
will not came in  test server when we
refresh data from production server  . So that PA20,PA30 AND PA40 will not show any pay slip details

and also pay slip result sheet will not generate  which is highly confidential .

Now we create one ABAP program which will update  tables (PA0008, PA0267 , PA2010 ) and use RPUDEL20
program to delete result sheet.

So,can you  please let me know, when we refresh our Quality test data from production system is there any way
to block this HR data  (
for example : Basic pay , Bonus , pay slip result sheet, PDF files, historical data,  etc )?

Dear Expeart ,

Thanks for your reply , we are not using TDMS4.0.

And could you provide that technical information, even if you aren't on 4.0 you should still be able to exclude the data within the project/package.

When you execute the package tell TDMS to exclude HR data or set a variant at the project level and force all packages to exclude the HR data.  I assume you are using TDMS 4.0?

Hello Mohammed,

You can use Scrambling which is a tool available with TDMS4.0 for this specific requirement.

With scrambling you can customize the table fields, for example, for annual salary PA0008 ANSAL can be customized. Also you can specify how you need it to be scrambled, like if you want it to be a fixed value (or) you want random numbers within a range, that can also be configured.

However this might lead to inconsistencies, if there are any pauroll rums in your systems. Or if you have any other rules for salaries, this can be configured through abap coding also.

For more information on How to use Scrambling, please refer to the attached link:
