How to calculate period of analyze

Hi all,

I need to extract records from S074 (DB table), and i need to extract records which will fall in a praticular time frame.

I have a start date(Date-From) and End date(Date-To). How can i calculate period of analyze-month, period of analyze-week, period of analyze-posting period for these dates.

Period of analyze-month and week are in (YYYYXX) format so that is no prob. But how about period of analyze-Posting period. What is the concept of posting period. Help me in this regard. ASAP.

In your info cube you assign your source field (doc date) to the time frame (posting period). You''ll see a green check for auto time conversion. This calculates the periods automatically. You'lll need the fiscal year variants set up in BW.
