Sending an E mail of Order Confirmation

Dear Gurus,

we have an requirement to send the Order Confirmation Via e mail to the user who placed order from Interface. Here Interface passing only the emal id of the user.

1. One customer will have Multiple users on average 3 users will be there for one cutomer.
2. The email id of the user should store in the Particluar sales Order Only.
3. By Maintaining  E mail Id's of all the users in the customer master , standard sap can send mail to only one of the default E mail id only. System can not recognize the user who placed the order
4. We can make custom program to send the OC to all Id's In the customer master . But Business do not agree for this.

We thought to save the sales order in the header text id of the sales order, Developer can write a program to pick the id from the Text id and send the mail accordingly.- Leader ship did not agree for this 😞

One more solution is Storing the passed  e mail id in the Sales order  partners tab Partner function SP - Double click on that will show the adress details of customer like in Generel Data - adress tab.  If we store at this ADR6 Table. BAPI Is overwriting the existing values like name1 , name 2, street 1 etc.

Please share any oen come acroos this situation and possible Solution to overcome this.

Please, see note 1458338 - Sending Emails to Multiple Recipients Using Medium 5 (External Send). Although it is for deliveries, I think you wouldn't have problems to extend to SO.
