Unable to launch Wily Workstation

Hi,

Does anybody have problems launching Wily Workstation after deploying new version of Java wit the error

Missing Application-Name manifest attribute for: http://<SAPHOST>:8081/workstationProduct/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.101.R34x_v20080819.jar

#### Java Web Start Error:

#### Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar: http://<SAPHOST>:8081/workstationProduct/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.101.R34x_v20080819.jar

Anybody has the solution?

Hi,

I've found the workaround it seems that on 12/27/13 CA issued an advisory that is pressent on notes

• Workstation Web Start client fails to start with Java 7 Update 45 (Java 1.7.0_45) and newer due to security related changes.
  CA describes workarounds in the attached Techical Advisory (CA APM Technical Advisory - WebStart Workstation Issue_v5.pdf). SAP recommends following Option 1, which requires the modification of a single file in the file system (workstation.jsp) without the need for a restart of the Enterprise Manager.

I've applied option 1 and set the java security optios to Medium, accepted the security warning and then it worked.
