TEC001 and C_SOA_TA_70 up-to-date?

Hello,

has anyone info about the TEC001 and C_SOA_TA_70? (Technical Architecture Fundamentals)

Is it still up-to-date because it's ofeered very seldem and only in the Netherlands.

And has someone attended it. Does it fit for the Scope of a Soultion Architect or is it more low-level?

Hi Jan,

TEC001 is a 10 days academy: 5 days of EnterpriseArchitecture and 5 days of technical information (Netweaver CE, Enterprise Services, ABAP architecture).

The pre-requisites are SAPNW (SAP NetWeaver Overview), SAPTEC (SAP NetWeaver Application Server Fundamentals) and BIT100 (SAP Integration Technologies), because in week 2 you will understand how SAP NetWeaver PI, SAP Business Process Management and other technologies fit into Architecture (hands
on week)

For the Enterprise Architecture (week 1) most of the content is up to date. For the techincal part the content is not up to date with the latest versions but it will give you a good understanding of what is available and how
everything works together. If you attend to the pre-requisites you will see the lastest versions of the NetWeaver products.

You will to take an Associate Certification Exam (CERT_TA_70), in order to be Certified as "SAP Certified Associate Technical Architect". This course is the preparation for the exam normally take. Definitely not a low level course/exam.
