Extending BPM notifications for Application log

Hi,

I am setting up an alert notification in solution manager for Application log. It is displaying  the count of application log, But the requirement is to extend the functionality  and add log number also in the mail content.

I could not find the source of the log numbers as this is running in background system.

please guide  me .

I have not tried this for application log. But I assume similar approach may needed like I tried for normal application monitor.

I think to enable your requirement, you might need to use Notification Badi.

And in the Notification badi, access to the backend system via RFC call and get the required information . And add the retrived inforamtion to the mail content via Badi.

With this approach I could add some of the detail list data in the mail from application monitor before (document number, material etc).
