Author of the ServiceDesk message - SOLMAN

Hello!

I would like to inquire whether anybody faced such problem in Solution Manager:

When user creates ServiceDesk message from R3 or BW system - author of the message defines correctly (username). But, when somebody is trying to create ServiceDesk message from SSM (Solution manager system) - author of the message defines as SOLMAN. May be we miss some settings?

hi,

you might set any auto determination via IB52?

check IB52 -> goto partner -> here any where defined reported by.  if yer, please remove

check via partner determination access sequence

goto -> spro - search "define partner determination" under IT service management  -> select your incident header ( standard SMIN0001, if you have custom, select your custom header) -> left panel "partner function in procedure-> Here you change the access sequence to  "Proceding document -> reported by -. current user"

You mean that I should delete this line?

I can see that there is no line with name SOLMAN.

If it is possible, can you specify this point

check in SM30 -----BCOS_CUST table in solution manager

the RFC destination should be NONE

this should resolve

Sorry I wasn't well so a bit delayed.

Have you also generated the BP for this user using BP_GEN transaction ..post generation check the Identification entry in the BP for this user for Solution Manager system

but all users are already generated using BP_GEN.

but the user posting ticket in solman ...do they have BP Identification for Solman in their Business Partners

kindly check it

goto BP tcode

enter the BP of the employee

click identification tab and see if there is entry for solman....XXX with userid

You mean that in this table should be 1 more entry with SOLMANXXX ... USERID, except those we have now?

Yes

whatever systems you want to report issues/incidents for those you need to have this Identification entry in the BP of the person so add for solman here if you want for solman

kindly do the same and let us know further
