ADS Configuration

Hi Friends,

I have R/3 Ecc6.0 Abap systems DEV,QAS,PRD

Also a solution manager 7.1 where abap+java running.

I want to use solman java for my R/3 systems to configure ADS.

I went thru some threads and i have some doubts.

which configuration method should i use from the below.

1) Basic Authentication

2) SSL Authentication.

Iam totaly confused on reading the document ADS document.

Please guide me.
