I'm trying to assign a system a product instance. When I click on the error correction link, 'Change Product Instance Assignments', I am presented with the error that the 'Technical system was updated in parallel session'. From what I've read, it's typically caused by opening the transaction twice.
So, here's what I did to reproduce the error.
1. Restarted the windows server.
2. Start the SAP system
3. Log in as an SAP Admin
4. Transaction: LVSM
5. Click on the Errors - Warnings tab
6. Click on the 'Change Product Instance Assignments'
What can I do to avoid this lockup?
