Ordered Route in FWD

Hi,

In FWD, 2 routes are there-

Ordered Route-stages of the route requested by the ordering party under Ordered Route

Actual Route-determined manually/ through configuration/ planning

Could someone explain business significance of Ordered route & TM processes it affects?

Thanks,

Sunish

The Ordered Route is the route requested by customer and it is used in the charge calcuation perspective because you will charge your customer according to his requests.

The Actual Real is the real route according to your execution. Sometimes the freight execution have some deviations and it is not exctatly equal to the customer request.

So using Ordered Route and Actual Route we can charge your customer using one route and plan your freight execution another route.

for example, you can decide how you want to bill your customer based on ordered or actual.

lets say you have  stage based rate.

A->X->C is ordered      actual could be A-X-Y-Z-C
