Hi,
I´m applying the command APYSIDKRN SID(<SAPSID>) ARCHIVES('<newkernel>/*') SAVSAR(*NONE) MODE(*FULLY) CHGENV(*NO) UPDAPAR(*NO), but the system show me a message
WARNING== If you continue running this command in MODE(*FULLY) with the input in parameter ARCHIVES, the following package will be lost: SAPEXE.SAR (OS400, UNICODE)
SAPEXE.SAR (OS400, UNICODE) IGSEXE.SAR (OS400, UNICODE)
Reply Y to continue and lose or N to check your input again: rfcexec (now UNICODE, see sap 1581595)
Can you help?
regards,
Hello,
this isn't a error. The APYSIDKRN command are giving you only hint If you continue he will delete some kernel parts.
This is because you are using the parameter *FULLY. Fully means that every kernel part wil be deleted and only the archives which you specify with the parameter "ARCHVIES" will be applied.
This could be a problem if you don't place all the needed achrives to your location "newkernel". What archives are in your location "newkernel".
You can also choose MODE(*ADD), so only the kernel parts in "newkernel" which are newer than your exisiting kernel will be replaced....

Either APYSIDKRN has an error or you are doing something wrong.
The only way to get help is that you open a customer message on BC-OP-AS4.
