Hi Experts,

One of the client is having the requirement like the user dont have access in the backend but he/she can approve by using the SAP Fiori.

For example : The userid for gateway is 'A' , but the user 'A' is not existing in backend. Is it possible to approve the PO using the SAP Fiori.

Thanks in advance.

Myilraja

Hi Myilraja,

User ID in Gateway and ERP should be same ID. Password can be different.

MM has release strategy and approval workitems are delivered to responsible person's inbox. Let's say responsible person's user ID is B.

When user B logon to Fiori, user and password are authenticated in Gateway. From Gateway to ERP, RFC connection is established by user ID B with trusted RFC. Now User B can look at workitems from user B inbox of ERP in Fiori UI.

Hi MyilRaja,

PO can be approved, Irrespective of any user.

User BAPI:

BAPI_PO_RELEASE

Pass PO No and Release code, automatically PO will be released.

Check with BASIS guy regarding the Destination created in SM59 t-code.

The Fiori PO approval is driven by an ECC workflow. The approval tasks are extracted by the backend service based on the user logged into the application. With the standard solution, anonymous approval is not practical - but what kind of company implements an anonymous approval system? That's compelety contradictory to the concept of approval. Possibly also a licence-breaker.

Hi Ron,

Thanks for your reply.I'll explain to the client.Because previously they are using the lotus notes for approval process and they are thinking on the license part as well .Thats the reason they asked liked this.

Hi Myilraja,

Without having an access for HANA system ( back-end ), particular user can approve purchase order/Sale order ( or access any FIORI applications ) .

All you need is , to access the FIORI app, u must be having a gateway system access. A generic user can be used for getting the data from backend system. In this case, generic user is not necessary to be same as gateway user.

Please revert back if you have any queries,,,

Hi Sathiya,

        Thanks for your reply.

If the genric user login in Fiori how the backend system knows to fetch the detail for the particular user.
