PO 731.SP10 / 7.40.SP5: File export of PI objects in NWDS does not generate file

Hi all,

when we try to export PI objects in NWDS (Process Integration Designer Perspective, Menu -> Process Integration -> Transport -> Export PI Objects), the export wizard runs fine and a second popup also says export successful. But there is no file generated in the given directory.

Is it working in other installations - ideally with the same software version?

Or is this a configuration issue?

it is working in our installation. But we are only on PO 7.31 SP09.

Hi Harald,

thanks for your test. In out test/cons system, that is still on 7.40 SP4, the file export also works.

I`m on SAP PO 7.4 SP06 with NWDS 7.3 SP11 PAT0002 and have same problem.

When I do export to file - popup shows up, that export was sucessfull, but file is missing.

Hi Toni,

I just tried with two different NWDS version for my PO system, one works and other one fails to produces TPZ file, but actually with no error/warning. Hence it looks like the issue with NWDS version. Please try with compatible NWDS version with your PO version

Hi,

In my case, PO version is 7.31 SP09

for SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.3 SP09 PAT0002 --> TPZ export worked

for SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.3 SP04 PAT0004 --> TPZ export failed

May be you can try with latest NWDS version for your PO7.4 SP05 version

According to a colleague, it works with the latest support package. In our case it is NW 7.40 SPS6 PAT0001 for NWDS.

7.31 and 7.4 have equal code base in java to my knowlowege. SP X of 7.4 + 5 = SP of NW 7.31.

NW 7.4 SP6 --> NW 7.3.1 SP11

since it works with SP4 (NW7.40) / SP9 (NW7.31), this cannot be the reason.
