Cloning objects between Universes

Hie Guys,

I need to add Employee IDs & Employee Names fields from one Universe to the other as I am missing some fields in my Universe. Do I need to manually add those IDs & Names to the existing ones in the database or is there a way I can clone them? Any ideas?

All you will need to do is to click on the object and copy the statement of the object from the univer which has them. And then manually create a object in the new universe with the same name and paste the statement. This process will work fine as long as the table that are being used for the object is the same..

What if both universes have different tables for those 2 objects ?

in that case r you can just copy the objects and then do a search replace of the old table with the new table..
