How do I print a diagram in IDT

I'm working in Information Design Tool , designing universes ; I wish to PRINT my diagrams.

I fail to understand why SAP's product designers cannot comprehend that users will need to perform basic everyday functions like this.

If I create a document in Word , I might want to PRINT it.

If I receive an email in Outlook , I might want to PRINT it.

If I create an ER Diagram in Powerdesigner or ERwin , I might want to PRINT it.

PRINT

Why is this impossible in IDT ?

In data foundation, under Master view tab, two buttons right to the Families drop down list, there's a "Save View as Image" button.

Is this what you are looking for?

The "Save View as Image" worked for me.  Here it is...

However, I have to wonder why there is a "Print" option in the "File" menu that I have never seen enabled.  When can it be used?

Is there a trick to get this to work?  Click the Save View as Image button, give it a name and nothing happens, the file is not generated. (IDT 4.1 SP6 Patch 3)

We are on 4.1 SP6 Patch 4. When I click the "Save View as Image" button, choose a file location and name and click save it does not give me any sort of confirmation it did the job, but it does save a .png file for me. I am not sure what to tell you.

HI..

Select the Business layer and Right Click (under the project Folder) 1 -->

Select Save as option in the context menu -->

In the pop-up --> Select the report location 2  -- >

Give the path where you want to store -->

And generate.

Find the attached screen shot

Doesn't work . It churns out a report - which I don't want - but no diagram.

Just right click on business layer > Save as PDF

This will prompt to select what are the object you want to include and those will be included in the pdf..
