CIF failure for Business Partner

Hi,

We are on SCM 701 and ECC 6. We are trying to develop a small prototype for SNC. I am trying to send 1 vendor as BP and Location from ECC. I am getting an error message which in German and probably not full..  ' Geschäftspartner 0000100916: keine Anlage mit dies'. I am unable to decipher this. The standard number ranes 01, Ab and MD are seen on the SCM customizing side. Any suggestions, please?

Hi Subash,

You should have below number range setting:

01    0000000001    0000000999    do not check external number range

AB    A    ZZZZZZZZZZ    0     check external number range

MD    0000001000    9999999999   check external number range

This is how my BUCF looked:

NO    From No           To No                NR status    

01     0000000000     0999999999         110              External Check Box greyed out

AB     A                        ZZZZZZZZZZ         0                  External Box checked

MD   9000000000      9999999999         0                  External Box open for input but not checked

I changed it as per Nikhil's suuestion and the BP has come across. Any idea how this number range would impact other stuff?

Hi Subash,

This is an error related to BP Number range. The BP - "100916" does not lie in the external number range.

You will have to change the std. number range settings using txn. BUCF  to ensure this number falls under the external number range.

Then Re CIF the same location again from ECC.
