How to improve the Scalability of WAS

hi ,

can u pls guid me how to improve the performance of WAS(6.40).

<b>we have created Webservices for Stateless SessionBean(Session Beans will internally calls entity beans) and deployed in WAS.</b>

1. the problem is the WAS was very slow and it is giving unexpected errors when the number of client increases. and it will be restarted automatically.

2. Frequently it is giving Out of Memory Error.

3. Is the any chance to do Garbage collection at runtime?

4. Is there any tools to Indentify the performance of WAS?

5.For How many client the WAS will support at a time.(Is there any restriction)?

Hai Guru,

First of all you need to finalize , in which landscape youare using the WeabAs.

If you are using it for Portal Applicaion.

or only as J2eeserver.

you need to confirm these changes in Config tool by Select the suitable template.
