Error Message - User {VALIDFROM=N does not exist

Hi All,

I'm trying to add a role to a user in SAP IDM and I get this error message in the job logs.

I've checked the user date and the date at role level (i've even removed the date).

I don't understand where the error comes from.

Does someone have an idea ?

Hello Nicolas,

haha! I've had this one just last week! In my case the username for the system, I tried provisioning the role to, was missing. I mean the system-accountname (ACCOUNT%repositoryname%) was not maintained in the IdM for this user. So it threw this great error message. ^^

Hello Laurent,

the user had no account-name maintained for the repository in question. So to solve it, maintain the ACCOUNT<repositoryname>-field and it works.
