Hello Community,
I'm using a Windows 2008 R2 Failover Cluster for my Central Instance.
Since Win2kR2, Microsoft uses a hidden network-adapter ("Microsoft Failover Cluster Virtual Adapter"), which has a automatically assigned IP 169.254.1.32, for internal cluster communication.
My problem is now, the Diagnostic Agent, always uses the IP from this Virtual Adapter(which is prefered and that setting cannot be changed).
How can I tell the diagnostic agent, which IP it should use.
Best regards
Bastian Gschrey
Hello,
I solved the problem by using the Microsoft tool "nvspbind" .

Hi,
Did you try running smdsetup script and providing the IP address you want during registration?
