Error while executing query in IDT on SQL Server 2008?

0 Kudos

Hi,

While creating universe, i have persistently started facing issue while executing queries on IDT, even simple select statement is giving this error.

The connection is working, and even if  I try building new universe it works perfectly!

Version = IDT 4.1 SP1 Patch2

I have tried recreating ODBC DSN 32 bit, but to no avail!

Please Help

Hi!

Thanks for the reply guys!

It seems to be a product bug, Qualifier/Owner information is lost when i import universe from repository!

Can you check the SQL query being created by this report or query. And then run it as a custom query.

If you have not configured the connection then you would not be able to add any table to your universe so I think your connection might be correct already..

Hi…

It’s show you don’t have access to SQL Server. Even if the connection is working fine and you don’t have access to SQl server you get the error message.

Plz check with your security team and get the access for SQL Server. Once you get the access for SQL server you won’t get this error.

Looks like there's no gap between CustomerID and FROM
