Hello,
It seems that u are working on PI7.31? So in that case to enable alerts on java stack u have to register consumer and define a alert category for it.

In fact, for ABAP stack also instead of configuring alerts using classical approach u have to use CBMA - recommended by SAP
Thanks

Hi Sudheer -
Did you create the alert rule in ID(Integration Directory)?
Is so assign the configuration scenario's to it as mentioned in the step1

Hello,
Ur error states that - "No configuration object is assigned"
So check if u have assigned components under "Message header rules" tab?
In addition to that, assign consumer to ur alert rule - go to wsnavigator -> search for "AlertRuleIn" service -> operation Register Consumer and then assign consumer name to ur rule created in NWA
Thanks

Sudheer - I hope you are implimenting this in Development system.
So in order to move your alert configuration to your qulaity/production system you don't need to do manually.
As you are customizing it - This will create a transport request and you can simply transport this object if you have configured CTS+.
Just simply create a new request(the button which is left to own request)
