Rent Asset and monitor through SD

Dear All,

Need your valuable inputs on my requirement.

We have a requirement of Renting the Assets, and need to create the Sales Order for this and track the asset.

When renting period is over then need to receive the assets. Kindly guide me if any body work on same process.

It's urgent requirement.

Hi Chakradhar,

you can create an Asset as Material master with material Type UNBW

Now create a Rental Contract using VA41 transaction to Rent it to customer. In the contract you will maintain the contract validity, after the validity, you can return the Asset into your plant

But, for Asset there will be a depreciation which you have to check with your FI

hope it is useful to start with, revert if you stuck at any point
