Dear Experts,
We have this troubling scenario where in we are sending Process Instructions from ECC as XML and that is received in PI before being passed over to a non SAP Manufacturing Execution system. The Data that we are sending is not followed in a Sequence in PI. Say for example we send
Row <1>XXX
Row <2>YYY
Row<3>ZZZ
but in PI it gets to
Row<3>ZZZ
Row<1>XXX
Row<2>YYY
and there is no pattern of this jumbling up. We have checked the message transmitted (XML generated in ECC) from ECC but there the sequence is correct. The more difficult part is this is happening only in some cases and not in all and ONLY in Production environment and not in Quality where we tried to replicate it multiple times but always the sequence remains intact. What could be the possible reason? Your helps is much appreciated and I have not technical knowledge of PI. We use PI 7.3
Regards,
Bhaskar
Hi Bhaskar - As requested please confirm what is your sender adapter for this interface.
Also just wanted to know if your quality and production systems are on same service pack?

HI Bhaskar,
If you are using a Sender File adapter you would need to set the Processing Sequence by date. In order to avoid two files with the same timestamp the sender system should to send each file with at least one second of delay, another solution will be to create the file with a sequence in their name.

Hi Bhaskar
This is looks really strange?? how are u sending the data from ECC??
Using proxy or file. Normally the payload in ECC MONI and the PI MONI should be same and there should be no mismatch.
Can you please provide the screen shot of the message in ECC and PI so that we can have a look.
