SAP XI/PI DAE installation

Dear Sirs,

Currently I am installing SAP XI/PI 7.1 DAE but I face some problem during installation, can someone help me ?

Q: How can I skip or disable SAP_SAP_GlobalAdmin group auto creation by SAP installation ? I had many SAP XI/PI DAE installed at our environment

System OS : Windows 2008 Enterprise R2 64bits

Database : Oracle

Hi All,

I did configuration wizard finished for my adapter engine, but unfortunately my new adapter engine cannot appear in my central SLD register, anyone have any idea ?

Dear Sirs,

I managed to complete installation. after installation I did below steps,

1) changed server instance & VM parameter in configtool (done)

2) add full host name in all profile files (done)

3) import user name and group name in UME (done)

4) changed SLD.selfregistration.xxx in Java System Properties (done)

5) execute Configuration Wizard (error after triggered) (see below screen shot) anyone have any idea ?

I managed to find correct version of jstart.exe, but I still have error and cannot process installation, any idea ?

My first problem had been solved by changing access right.

Now I have second problem as shown below when process until create secure store, anyone have any idea ?

Hi,

First question are you running the installation using user who has admin rights..

Hi Min Eng,

On the server , Right click on Computer and select &click on Manage.

Now Select the System Tools-->Local users and groups

and now under group section look for the SAP_SAP_GlobalAdmin and delete it.

and then retry the installation
