ECC to BW through XI

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone explain what kind of data is exchanged between ECC and BW through XI,

PS: I'm not looking for any technical implementation,

I'm looking for some scenarios like

eg. sending "Warehouse Shipping Order" etc
