Issue with ATD quantity for deployment Heuristic

Hi,

We are facing issues with ATD quantity allocation in deployment heuristic.

In the planning book the ATD quantity is available as per the category group maintained in Location master.

However when we take deployment heuristic in background or interactively the log shows 0 ATD quantity and no deployment STR's are created.

So the issue here is deployment stock orders are not getting generated even though the ATD quantity is available.

We are observing this issue for few set of products and for remaining its behaving as expected.

request to provide expert views on the issue.

For the products with the problem, have you assigned ATR/ATI category groups in product master data 'SNP2' tab? This setting will overwrite the setting in location master data.

The field is blank in material master.

So it should consider the field from Location master.

Hi Sanjog,

Do you have SNP stock transfer requisitions as a result of an SNP run? Deployment works against these. A few thoughts:

Do you have fair share and push rules defined in the SNP 2 tab of the product master?

Have you set the deployment horizon in one of your daaviews?

Have you set the push and pull horizons?

Also, without the category groups in the product or location, the ATD groups will default to ATI and ATR.

Hi Sanjog,

Please check the SNP2 tab of the product-location, where you see the issue. I guess there is no pull/push deployment horizon maintained.

Also please check the T-lane, if MOT is properly assigned.
