difference between Software Update Manager 1.0 SP09 and SP06

Hello

I wander is there any difference between Software Update Manager 1.0 SP09 and Software Update Manager 1.0 SP06

(having in mind 1843776 - Central Note - Software Update Manager 1.0 SP09 [lmt_005])

Namely I do not find guide for Software Update Manager 1.0 SP09 but have guide for Software Update Manager 1.0 SP06

Please read the SUM Guide carefully.SUM supports any EHP upgrade,Version Upgrade,Single component update.If you want more on SUM tool read the below link

We have one old  ECC EhP2 system which is a traing system. In this system can we generate stack xml file for EhP upgare?

If possible, We will upgare to EhP6.Please guide me

You can do EHP6 Upgrade.Please check PAM for OS and Database dependency.

Yes, there have been a lot of changes between different patch levels of SUM 1.0. Changes are discussed in the chapter 1.2 "New Features" of the SUM guide. Always use the latest SUM version, right now you should go with SP09. Use SMP alias /sltoolset and scroll down the page to locate the Documentation for SUM (amongst others).
