Master agreement publish from CLM to ECC after deleting all line items

Hi Experts,

Is there any way to publish an existing master agreement from CLM to ECC, even if we delete all line items of master agreement in CLM? Basically the idea is to delete all line items of mater agreement in CLM and publish changes to ECC, for setting up deletion flag against all line items of respective contract in ECC.

Since we have sub Agreements under 'Master Agreement', we can not use 'Close' option in CLM to close the master agreement and then by setting up deletion flag against all line items in ECC.

I request all of you to advice actual procedure to be followed or a best practice to be followed in this scenario.

With best regards,

Prabhakar

Hi Jaheer,

Thank you very much for your reply. Is there any best practice or work around available to handle this scenario effectively?

In one way CLM system allowing user to delete all line items in a master agreement (here deletion stands for completion removal of line items from MA). How ever MA can not be published from CLM to ECC (since there are no line items) and hence data between CLM and ECC will not be in sync.

Unfortunately, in ECC users still be able to create release orders with reference to contract for which line items deleted in CLM. Looks like this is an application interfacing issue. Do we have to take up this scenario with SAP by raising an OSS message?

With regards,
