What determines the sequence of the Role in the Collaborators section

Hi Experts,

I am trying to find out, what determines the sequence of the Role display in the Collaborators section. I see that they don't come alphabetically. How can we control the collaborator role display sequence in a document.

Hello,

As far as I know, the order of the Collaborator Role options should be sorted.  Please check the Query Definition 'FCI-AllCollaboratorRolesPicker'.  On the Results Field tab you will see the sort order, which may not be what one would expect.  It appears that we sort on the Document Description first, and then the Display Name.

You can find the answer following the path:

Setup > Document Security Template > Master Agreement > New Documents

On Document Security Template you can find out or create Security Templates for all your Business Documents.

Doc security template will help me to default the group/user with any relevent role in the collaboration section,even I can assign a default role to the newly added collaborator from the template, however will it help me to control the sequence of the dropdown values in the Role column.
