DDIC User does not exist but background jobs are running with that user

Hi All,

In our SRM system, we are running a hourly job with program RSCOLL00.

It is running with the user DDIC.

But when I check for that user in SU01D, i am not able to find that user.

Irrespective of it being a dialog/System user, it should be shown in SU01D right?

Please throw some light on this issue.

Also, When I checked there was a discussion on whether DDIC was a system user or dialog user.

I would like to clarify on the same.

Thanks,

Ramakrishnan R

Check the table usr02 where  bname='DDIC*' .

program RSCOLL00.

Please go in sm37 and in the job details you will get whcih client it is running . user will be there in that client . Job cant run with out user.

Thanks

Hi All,

Thanks for your help

As many of you have pointed out, it is scheduled in 000 client.

This is totally a new information to me

Just out of curiosity, is this feature peculiar to client 000 or can I also run jobs in a different client by creating a job definition in another client.

Thanks,

Ramakrishnan

Hi Ram

As raja said you might have been schedule in client 0000 .

Pls check the background job overview you can get ,from job created you can get client details...

Hi Ram,

The RSCOLL00 is for SAP collector job. Generally it might have been schedule in 000 client as well.

However check the background job details to get the client which the job is running so that you can get the DDIC user from that client.
