Hi Experts,
We have passed 5 years after go live. Now we are planning for archiving. We found 25 top largest tables(25% of total database) and relevant archiving objects also. Now I have some query:
1. In largest table there are about 12 objects, should we archive all of these?
2. Can we archive all the objects in a single session? If not, then .
3. Will we archive all the objects into a single archive file?
Please answer me the questions.
Asad
Hello
What archiving solution are you using for this system ?
There are archiving solutions like Content Server, Opentext archiving etc.
If you use Content Server then they are stored in the database (MaxDB).
About how the archiving should be done is a question to be answered by the business or by the internal application team in your company.
