Limitations of ABAP user types communication etc. do not work when logging on via HTML services

Dear all,

recently I found out that some special communication users (abap type communication or system) can be used for a dialog login when using an abap webdynpro service. The communication users need extensible authorizations for their purposes but should not be used for dialog communication with webservices of the as abap stack.

The system in question is a solution manager 7.1 although I think that this issue is not related to a special sap release.

Can anyone advice how one can avoid dialog logins for these special users? I read several security guides but did not find a solution until now.

Hi,

I too had the same doubt however still not sure about the restriction. However the licensing part has been cleared from this forum.
