DDIC User does not exist but background jobs are running with that user

Hi All,

In our SRM system, we are running a hourly job with program RSCOLL00.

it is running with the user DDIC.

But when I check for that user in SU01D, i am not able to find that user.

Irrespective of it being a dialog/System user it should be shown in SU01D right?

Please throw some light on this issue.

Hi Ramakrishnan,

My suggestion is to check with the BASIS guy aboout the user DDIC.

Its not a normal user but a special kind of login id used for installing SAP netweaver in client 000.

I will check with our BASIS guys and revert.

I'll also post this question in as well based on suggestion.

When I checked there was a discussion on whether DDIC was a system user or dialog user.

I would like to clarify on the same.

The job is running in our SRM system only but I am not sure whether this question is directly related to SAP SRM.
