Technical Monitoring - Global Changeability of System

Hi experts,

in technical monitoring, there is a check which shows, if a system is in "change"-mode or not.

So if you are allowed to do changes (customizing, coding).

In the documentation of this check it is written, that transaction SE03->System Changeability will be checked.

But now I have one system, in which SE03 is set to "no changes allowed", however the technical monitoring alerts that the system is allowed to do changes.

Does someone know, what the problem is?

Thank you

So, the problem is solved now.

It seems, as it did take a while till managed system did report to solman.

Also if the check is running hourly the correct value is today in the system.

Thank you to everyone

Hi Prakhar,

I think this is a custom check, to check SCC4 settings.

But there is also a standard check/alert for SE03 configuration.

And this alert reports at the moment "1" (=changes allowed) also if the system is in "changes not allowed" mode.

This is my current problem.

Have you check below link or use configuration validation check for the same

Please check below (section Global changes allowed)

ConfVal_Alerting - Technical Operations - SCN Wiki

Hi Christian,

Check on the ConfigStore GLOBAL configuration. You can find it under "Root Cause Analysis/Configuration Validation".

Here you can update the validation rule for every system of your landscape.

If you want to configure an alert for the Client Modification (SCC4), have a look to this thread:
