Hai,
Until SCM 4.0, no check against SCM master data can be made.
How do we check Character Value Combinations(CVCs) against APO Master data?
I am not asking about the master data thats CIFed. I know I can use /sapapo/ccr for that. But just want to know how the check is made for CVCs aginst SCm aster data.
Is it just from MC62- check CVCs for consistency? nor is there any other way?
Thank you.
Hi Visu
The check is made in the MC62 screen in SCM 5.0 by a indicator
If you set this indicator, the system checks whether the values you have defined as products or locations have been entered in the APO master data as products or locations.
The system also checks whether the conversion between the internal and external form has been carried out correctly. Leading zeros and templates for product numbers can cause problems
If you are not using the characteristics 9AMATNR and 9ALOCNO for product or location respectively, the system checks the characteristics that you have assigned in the maintenance of the master planning object structure. If you have not assigned characteristics, the check is not carried out.
