Invalid Credentials error in SAP HANA

Hi to all,

I am trying to add system in SAP HANA studio. (Note this is 30 day trial system by SAP via CloundShare).

by using below details.

Host: hanacloud

Instance: 00

The User Name which i use is : SYSTEM

password: manager

but i am getting error for Invalid credentials.

i have already tried link http://scn.sap.com/thread/3208984.

but still faced issue.

please can any one share some light on issue and solution for this.

Hi Pavneet,

Can you share the cloudhshare snapshot of the database its details including the ip address and other details?

Also do mail to devcenter@sap.com they may be able to help you out as well.

This error is coming while "adding system" in HANA studio.

Hi Pavneet,

Have you checked that your HANA DB is up and runing or not,it seems DB is down so you are not able to connect to DB.

Please provide HDB info output .

Hi Pavneet,

If your database is UP and still if you are unable to connect instead of using 'hanacloud' use the IP address directly which comes in the details of your HANA Database server snapshot and check if you could connect.

Can you check if the below entry is present in your "hosts" file? if not present do add the entry.

10.160.0.100

hanacloud.sap.com hanacloud

i have already wasted 2 day of trial version, but cant 'ADD SYSTEM' for same above issue.

Did you ensure you are using the correct IP address? Don't want to sound obvious, but it looks like your Studio cannot reach the target HANA box.
